Lights Of Love Centerpiece
This is a really nice project because even if you put just the same amount of flowers and greenery, fresh or silk, that you would put into a bud vase ... it looks so much nicer.

I also like to set it on a mirror tile to reflect as much lights as possible from the votive cups.

The height of the tallest votive cup is the perfect height, 14 inches, to see over to the guests at the other side of the table. It was designed so there would be plenty of room on the tables for family style service.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

3-14 inch pedestals hot glue
glass dessert dish ( Walmart-\\$1.00 ) or other planter or dish
glass gems (\\$1.00-Walmart)
Acrylic Water (Walmart-that's where I got mine)
florist foam
tiny plastic cup (necessary if you are going to do fresh arrangement,
optional if doing silk)
Spanish moss (optional)
silk or fresh flowers and greenery
3 glass votive cups (Walmart-.67cents each
3 votive candles
small amount of 1/4" ribbon
fabric coated green wire cut in half (for silk)
Stickum (any craft store or Walmart)

Instructions

(1) Cut 2 of the pedestals shorter than the others (see graphic)

(2) Mix 2 teaspoons full of each of the 2 bottles of Acrylic Water into a plastic cup. Stir according to directions on the Acrylic Water. Pour onto your dessert plate (or other container you may be using). Let set until completely set for 2 days or until completely set and not sticky. This makes the container level.

(3) Set your cut pedestals in place ring side up and tack in place with hot glue and make sure they are straight.....once set the pedestals cannot be moved,... EVER (see graphic for where to put them). This is only temporary and will not ensure the hold of the pedestals to the glass
dish.

(4) Mix up Acrylic Water as in Step(2) again and pour onto foot of pedestals.  Add glass gems everywhere BUT the space inside of the pedestals. Put you plastic
cup there if you are doing fresh. Or sink your wire there for the foam
if you are doing silk,,,,ends sticking up so when the time comes to put
in the foam...the wires will hold it in securely.

(5) Let set 2 more days.

(6) Your centerpiece is ready to design. Attach ribbon as shown in graphic with the seam in front. Make a tiny bow and cover the seam. Add greenery and 3 flowers...2 in the front and one in the back at the bottom.

(7) Stick glass votive cups to pedestal rings with "Stickum". Add
candle.

Step (7) should be done AT the reception site not before
transport...they are too top heavy that way.

You may wish to set the arrangement on a mirror square. To make a larger
centerpiece you may wish to use the 21" pedestals and a larger plate.
